Donald Trump campaigned and “won” conservative support based on his opposition to inciting war in the ME (Middle East). Unfortunately, it seems as though he’s reversed his position on invading or attacking Syria since issuing these tweets in 2013:
So, what changed? Is Trump a pathological liar? A lunatic? A fool?
As I’ve previously written, while I do not by any means defend Trump as a saint, he would be a fool if he did not know that once elected, his hands would be quickly tied by the Military-Industrial Complex, which ultimately serves at the pleasure of the Central Banking cabal. While millions hoped that Trump would “drain the swamp” he has instead surrounded himself with billionaires and ambassadors from Goldman Sachs and the like.
There seems little reason to doubt that Trump was expressing true opinions when he opposed any U.S. involvement in Syria. It is remotely possible that he is deceived by the false flag op in Syria; or it may be that he is convinced to go along for “the greater good” of “defeating terrorism.”
But as has been the case with all U.S. presidents since the days of J.F.K., every sitting president has been held hostage in the Whitehouse by the CIA-MIC. And as this quote reveals, the Shadow Government has held control for a whole lot longer than that:
Behind the ostensible government sits enthroned an invisible government owing no allegiance and acknowledging no responsibility to the people. To destroy this invisible government, to befoul the unholy alliance between corrupt business and corrupt politics, is the first task of the statesmanship of today. — President Theodore Roosevelt (1901-1909)
Since I entered politics, I have chiefly had men’s views confided to me privately. Some of the biggest men in the United States, in the field of commerce and manufacture, are afraid of somebody, are afraid of something. They know that there is a power somewhere so organized, so subtle, so watchful, so interlocked, so complete, so pervasive, that they had better not speak above their breath when they speak in condemnation of it. —President Woodrow Wilson (1913-1921)
A financial element in the large centers has owned the government since the days of Andrew Jackson. — President Franklin D. Roosevelt (1933-1945)
Even the disgraced Bill Clinton, husband to the traitorous Hillary Clinton (who was ironically involved in giving Russia control over U.S. uranium reserves in Wyoming, as well as selling State Department access to Clinton Foundation donors—many of them foreign) had this to say:
There’s a government inside the government, and I don’t control it. — President Bill Clinton (1993-2001)
Unfortunately, what this means is exactly what I’ve been declaring for more than a decade now: That a truly righteous man is unelectable to the office of POTUS—but even if elected, he would literally have to lay down his life for his principles.
For this reason, I would not wish this office upon any man who had family or loved ones; because the MIC is real, and it has unlimited resources and means to deliver on its threats. In other words, it is simply not possible to lead without compromise in the office of President and live to tell about it.
(The somber reality of this has not fully registered upon the populace—even among conservative evangelicals—whose faith is still in fixing the system, not realizing that the system is already “fixed.”)
Many of us from America’s Boomer generation recall very well what happened to President John F. Kennedy when he threatened to expose and dismantle secret societies and the CIA’s involvement in regime change. [Here is a clip of his famous “ruthless conspiracy” speech:] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RhkjYJAHCjM
JFK was a staunch Democrat. However, by today’s standards, many of Kennedy’s fiscal and foreign policies would be lauded by both conservatives and libertarians alike. It is reported that even Ronald Reagan drew from Kennedy’s example: https://www.forbes.com/sites/kylesmith/2013/11/08/modern-democrats-would-view-john-f-kennedy-as-a-reaganite-extremist/#357844e43beb
JFK was not a moral man, of course—a fact exploited by those who sought to control his presidency. To this day, the shadow government works overtime to secure secrets on prominent politicians, military officers, bureaucrats, religious leaders, and executives which they can use for leverage. It would be exceedingly naive not to assume the same is true for the former playboy, billionaire, and casino-builder-cum-president, Donald J. Trump.
Considering Trump’s very vocal opposition to Obama’s meddling in the Middle East (as illustrated by his ubiquitous twitter remarks) what factors can account for the president’s apparent reversal of opinion?
There are only a few possibilities:
At the very least, therefore, Trump’s flip-flop demonstrates he’s being used—either willingly or unwilling, wittingly or unwittingly—by the architects of the New World Order. We know this, because his latest actions in Syria indicate he is embracing the doctrines of the same neocons who wrote “Project for a New American Century” —a “think tank” report that seems to have both predicted and precipitated the events of 9/11. http://www.globalresearch.ca/corporate-media-doublethink-and-the-bush-pnac-911-iraq-connection/5451543
Remember Trump’s travel ban—and the outrage that it was a “Muslim ban?” Of course, this charge was ludicrous; as the administration quickly pointed out, citizens of many other Muslim nations were free to travel. But the fact that six of the countries on the travel ban were also on the list of seven nations targeted by the Pentagon for “regime change” since 9/11 (as reported by retired General Wesley Clark) indicates that Trump was being used (wittingly or unwittingly) as an instrument of the neocon Military-Industrial Complex from Day One of his administration. http://www.globalresearch.ca/we-re-going-to-take-out-7-countries-in-5-years-iraq-syria-lebanon-libya-somalia-sudan-iran/5166
Once again, this reveals that we no longer have a government “of the people, by the people, and for the people” but “of the elite, by the elite, and for the elite.”
— PART THREE —
How Does This Fit with Bible Prophecy—
and How Should the Church Respond?
I realize that many would regard these conclusions as exceedingly cynical.
“Where’s the hope in that?” some will cry.
However, as I study the Scriptures—especially concerning the state of the world as we daily draw nearer to the fulfillment of Bible prophecy—it is simply a rational acknowledgment that the root of all evil that has overtaken every branch of our government. There is no longer rule of law.
For many Patriotic Americans, this is a bitter pill to swallow.
For Bible-believing followers of Christ, it is a fulfillment of God’s prophetic Word.
It’s the topic of another installment, but in a nutshell, we know that America must decline in order for prophecy to unfold.
God’s Word indicates that ultimately, Antichrist will come to rule a global government comprised of ten “kings” (corresponding to the ten toes of the statue in Nebuchadnezzar’s vision in Daniel 2:42) who will “rule one hour with the beast” (Revelation 17:12). These powerful leaders are most likely not elected officials; but rather the heads of ten banking regions, or “unions” which are established to bring stability to the New Economic Order.
According to the Scriptures, the Last Days are characterized by increasingly perilous times where “evil men and seducers” grow worse and worse (2 Timothy 3:1). Both the “kings of the earth” (Psalm 2) and the political pawns they control are deceived, and deceiving others (2 Timothy 3:13).
Today, we share the lament of the Psalmist, both spiritually and politically, concerning the state of the church, and of our nation: “If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?” (Psalm 11:3).
It can be discouraging to wake up and realize that for many decades, America has not been the nation it was founded to be; and the realization that there is no hope in any political effort to “make America great again” can be equally depressing—especially after millions of conservatives and libertarians and Christians rallied behind Trump as the “man who would save America.”
Perhaps after Trump is finished with his term, the flag-waving GOP will wake up and smell the coffee. As president George W. Bush famously said, “Fool me once—shame on…shame on you. Fool me—you can’t get fooled again.” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Be6tunbRcs8
But as Bible-believing followers of Jesus, we should not be surprised nor dismayed at these things. In his “sermon on the mount” (Matthew 24), Jesus warned his disciples of many troubling signs that should come upon the earth—but he also promised, “Lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age” (Matthew 28:20).
Faith and hope in the promises of our Lord will also calm our anxious hearts in these troubling times. What a blessing it is to have the same words of comfort that Jesus spoke to his closest companions minister to us today: “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid (John 14:27).
The good news remains that “God is long-suffering, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” As believers, we are all commissioned ambassadors to participate in this vital life-giving message to a lost and dying world.
And like the sons of Issachar, who were men that had “understanding of the times” in order to guide the leaders of ancient Israel (1 Chronicles 12:32), so today should Christian men pray for wisdom and discernment to understand the times—in order to guide the church, guard our families, and grasp hold of that service to which we are called: The harvest of souls for the kingdom of God—”redeeming the time, for the days are evil” (Ephesians 5:16).
But what about the evils of Islam and the “War on Terror”?
As followers of Jesus, we recognize that ultimately, all wars are “religious wars” because they stem from spiritual darkness, demonic deception, and the depravity of man’s heart. Islam is rooted in all of these things. While claiming to be a religion of “peace,” it is, in fact, a bloody religion that exacts submission to Allah under the blade of its sword.
Are not Christians and others who love their country right to be concerned over the threat of “Radical Islamic Terror”? And what can or should be done about it?
This is a topic we’ll continue to address in future installments.
