Wag the Dog: Obama’s Final Days and the Shocking Truth About “Fake News” – Part 3

The preponderance of evidence that circumstantially links John Podesta and his brother, Tony—along with Bill and Hillary Clinton, and dozens of political friends, donors, officials, and philanthropists in high places—to what appears to be an international network of powerful people engaged in perversion and child sex trafficking is sufficient reason to consider why Russia and “fake news” websites have suddenly become scapegoats on center stage.

After Senator Ron Johnson (R-Wis) revealed that the CIA repeatedly refused requests for briefings, the Washington Times reports that

Several former intelligence officials outlined . . . why they believe signs in the situation point to an inside leak, and not a hack by an outside actor.

If hacking were involved, the National Security Agency would likely have digital footprints that could be used to back up the CIA’s claims, wrote the former officials, led by former NSA official William Binney.

“In sum, given what we know of NSA’s existing capabilities, it beggars belief that NSA would be unable to identify anyone — Russian or not — attempting to interfere in a U.S. election by hacking,” Mr. Binney and the officials wrote in the memo, published by Consortium News.

Craig Murray, a former British ambassador to Uzbekistan and associate of WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, said emails from Hillary Clinton’s campaign were, in fact, leaked by a whistleblower disgusted with the Clintons.

“Neither of [the leaks] came from the Russians,” Mr. Murray told the Daily Mail. “The source had legal access to the information. The documents came from inside leaks, not hacks.” (1)

Long-time truth activist and author G. Edward Griffin, agrees:

. . . There is good reason to suspect that the emails were sent to WikiLeaks by Seth Rich, an computer programmer for the Democrat National Committee who had access to the DNC computer. It may not be a coincidence that Seth was shot to death on the street near his home shortly after the hack was discovered . . . . (2)

Even if the hack really was done by Russia, the facts revealed in the emails are more important to the security of America than who released them. The Establishment wants us to be indignant at the possibility of Russia doing the same thing the US does and entirely forget about the corruption that the emails revealed.

If Al Capone had leaked the private letters of Bugsy the Butcher proving that Bugsy had murdered the Chief of Police, are we to be so offended by the unauthorized publication of Bugsy’s letters that we forgive him of the murders? Even if Russia did hack the emails – which is doubtful – that would not purify Hillary or entitle her to occupy the White House. (3)

Of course, Griffin’s fictional scenario is absolutely fitting. What this demonstrates, unfortunately, is that for many in the media, truth is not a governing factor. In lock step, the mainstream media continues advancing the official narrative, as though following the propaganda principle observed by Adolph Hitler in Mein Kampf (vol. I, ch. X):

. . . In the big lie there is always a certain force of credibility; because the broad masses of a nation are always more easily corrupted in the deeper strata of their emotional nature than consciously or voluntarily; and thus
. . . they more readily fall victims to the big lie than the small lie . . . It would never come into their heads to fabricate colossal untruths, and they would not believe that others could have the impudence to distort the truth so infamously. Even though the facts which prove this to be so may be brought clearly to their minds, they will still doubt and waver and will continue to think that there may be some other explanation. (4)

Later, Joseph Goebbels, Hitler’s Ministry of Propaganda, explained a related technique: “. . . When one lies, it should be a big lie, and one should stick to it . . . even at the risk of looking ridiculous.” (5)

“Ridiculous” is exactly the word which comes to mind when considering both the charges set forth by our nation’s leadership, and it’s juvenile response:

The Obama administration . . . announced its retaliation for Russian efforts to interfere with the US presidential election, ordering sweeping new sanctions that included the expulsion of 35 Russians.

US intelligence services believe Russia ordered cyber-attacks on the Democratic National Committee (DNC), Hillary Clinton’s campaign and other political organizations, in an attempt to influence the election in favor of the Republican candidate, Donald Trump.

In a statement issued two weeks after the president said he would respond to cyber-attacks by Moscow “at a time and place of our choosing”, Obama said Americans should “be alarmed by Russia’s actions” and pledged further action. (6)

Having given himself no other options except to escalate his playground bully “blame game,” many speculate that Obama is itching to provoke a hot response from Putin. But is this just to protect his friends and comrades—or is his own skin in the game? As the Podesta e-mails and supporting documents show, both Clinton and Obama have close ties to—and financial transactions with—numerous people and places implicated in this tangled web of perversion and corruption. (7)

Like other presidents before him, Obama appears to be taking cues from the 1997 movie, Wag the Dog, in which a sitting president tries to distract the nation from his sexual indiscretions with a made-for-TV war. (8) Since the day in 1998 when President Bill Clinton went on television to announce U.S. bombings of Afghanistan and Sudan (coinciding with details emerging from his Oval-office affair with Monica Lewinsky) “wag the dog” is now a running joke for presidents abusing their powers of office to misdirect the public in order to maintain control.

But tragically, it is no joke that our government not only creates wars and war propaganda—including the staging of attacks foreign and domestic, and broadcasting fake “drills” as real news (9) —but it literally creates and controls much of the news itself. (10) This concept is so utterly offensive and outrageous to both red- and blue-state voters that they find it difficult to believe that “their” president (whether Republican or Democrat) would ever participate in such a grand theater of deception.

Of course, they’re always quick to assume such things about the “opposing” party—not realizing that the same globalist agenda advances during every single administration: expanding federal powers, relinquishing U.S. sovereignty, reducing privacy, and enriching the military-industrial complex.

Will the presidency of Donald J. Trump be any different?

The American people will soon find out.
